While we specialize in Iceland destination weddings, we plan weddings anywhere in Europe and in select US locations. Have a look at our destinations list. Of course, we are willing to work and travel anywhere for the right client.

What are your rates? +

We believe it's good business practice to get you an accurate price quote from the start; therefore, we are unable to publish set rates online, as no two weddings are exactly alike. Our package prices may be tweaked or personalized to suit each client's needs.

In general, our rates start at $1800 for elopements or small gatherings. For destination weddings, our full-service planning prices range from $3500 up to $15,000. Please contact us for a consultation in order to receive an estimate.

Why do I need a consultation? +

We take on a limited amount of clients each year based on fit. If you're not interested in talking to us, well... ??? How about some baby animal pictures? Still no? No hard feelings! We'll try to refer you to someone who may be a better match.

A proposal is not just about price; we want to blow your mind with the awesome services that we provide. Without hearing about your wants and needs, we'd be taking a wild guess about how to best serve you. Having a chat only makes sense. Our pricing formula is the same for all, but we offer a higher level service for larger budgets and high-profile clients. E.g., more staff, more hours and attention, on-demand site visits, concierge services, extended trip itineraries, travel bookings—all of these things may be arranged on request. The reverse is also true: if we feel you're a great fit for us but your budget is below what we normally work with, we'll come up with a proposal that works for us both, perhaps with fewer project hours or offerings.

Do you offer a la carte services? +

Absolutely. Everything is tailor-made to suit your needs. We do not require that you purchase a package and you do not have to be a full-service client in order for us to work with you.

We are the first and only destination wedding planner to fill this market gap for Iceland.

Can you coordinate my Iceland wedding in person? +

Yes! We have a few different ways of arranging this.

For existing clients, we can offer a day rate or weekend rate depending on the availability of our team. The day rate to coordinate your wedding includes 10 hours of coverage on the day, plus travel from Reykjavík to your venue. An overnight stay is usually required.

For new clients, our day-of coordination package is $2500 for rehearsal preparation, full coordination of your wedding ceremony and reception, set-up and clean-up. Coordination starts 4 weeks before the start of your wedding, or up to 8 weeks as a courtesy, and includes timeline preparation and logistical assistance. This package does not include planning services; if you have many wedding details still outstanding, we can tie up loose ends for you at a rate of $75/hour, or it may be appropriate to add a la carte or partial planning services.

By offering day-of coordination to couples who are not also planning clients, we incur an opportunity cost to block off a full weekend from our calendar to be available on your date. Starting in 2019, a la carte wedding management outside of full-service planning will be offered on a very limited basis; unfortunately, we are likely already committed to larger projects.

Do you charge for your travel expenses? +

No. Our travel expenses are not included in the cost of our packages, nor are they ever billed to our clients.

As a bespoke destination event planning firm, we’re in the business of travel—not just weddings. And international + domestic travel is a routine part of doing business. Thus, we cover our own travel costs where applicable.

Our vendors and freelancers work independently from us and reserve the right to bill for travel and other expenses. As your planner, we coordinate this with you.

I have the majority of my wedding planned, but there’s just one thing remaining. Will you help? +

Yes. If you require help with something that does not fall under a specific a la carte service, we may be contracted by the hour.

Our hourly rate is between $75-$250, depending on the level of expertise required. For example, help with a wedding cake might run at $75 per hour, while assistance with secret locations in the Highlands or gaining venue permission from a private landowner would be charged at a higher hourly rate. No, never. We question whether it is possible to act 100% in your client's best interests if you are receiving payments from other vendors. Please be wary of this kind of business practice.
